You could try DCF39's sister station (DCF49 I think) with mark frequency on
128.93kHz - It has the same format of transmitting a carrier on the mark
frequency with FSK data bursts at intervals of several seconds. I Imagine
the propagation will be very similar.

Hello Rik,
I imagined at one point that I could hear data bursts. Unforunately I have
strong power line carrier signals very close to the frequency which makes
listening difficult.
