The ZL1WB LF antenna is strung across a gully and has between 300 and 600
feet ground clearance. Support to support distance is around 1km but there
is quite a bit of sag, as you might expect-hence the ~3500 foot wire length.
(sorry for mixing units-it's probably a sign of age!) It's fed at one end
against ground and Bruce typically uses 40 watts or so of RF-he has a very
good LF signal around ZL, as you might expect.
