I also join Andre' in urging international comments to be filed in the
rulemaking. Surely, being able to communicate with amateurs using this same
band in other parts of the globe is a legitimate interest on the part of
European hams.
Moreover, your actual experiences involving interaction (or lack thereof!)
with ID devices, powerline controllers, or any other consumer and industrial
devices, will lend a much needed real-world perspective to the proceeding.
We will also soon have additional information at the lwca.org Web site on
filing comments in FCC proceedings. However, for informal comments, you
should be able to get a very good idea about how to file from the site Geri
mentioned. Obtain some of the individual filings from the FCC site as an
example of the format to use, and be sure to include the docket or NPRM
number above your comments.
