I have just been checking out the part of the band from 181.4 to 184.4 kHz here
and my conclusion is that we have no chance of seeing anything in Europe
between these frequencies, because of the 2MW French broadcast station, Europe
1 at Saarlouis, on 183.0 kHz. The sidebands extend over at least the whole of
this frequency range.

Subject: LF: ZL DX testing 22 September
The next session of LF DX beaconing from ZL and VK is scheduled for 21
September (UTC, the "Friday night and Saturday morning" for Europe and
stateside, local time in ZL is some six hours into 22 September at ZL
sunrise!). The date is selected as being the weekend of the equinox.
Are there any suggestions for optimum frequencies for European listeners?
For "trans Pacific" testing we have used frequencies from 181.4 to 184.4
I will also apply for a permit to transmit in the 136 and 76 kHz bands from
Quartz Hill ZL6QH, but that may take a while to be approved. So for the
time being DownUnder DX testing needs to be within the band 165 - 190 kHz.
