I agree with Alan, Alberto and others. Please, don't split the reflector!
The knowlwdge and wisdom of the list is very great.  Today an OM
may be interested in the last issues about millihertz-wide coding,
tomorrow in receiving loops or reception reports. One thing should not
exclude the other; we do it for fun, not for profession!

Some clever prefix to messages will help in reading, of course.
The same happens in other lists (look to WUN, they use MIL, DIG,
MAR, MISC to discriminate, and the traffic volume is similar to this
reflector).

To split will be a one-way process - this reflector is unique like the
band we are using, and ban-plans and other kind of gentleman
agreements would be very difficult to handle then.
