I wouldn't recommend the Datong convertor for use on long wire aerials. It overloads too easily for serious use.
Well, yes it does, but it is very easy to build an attenuator and/or tuned circuit to put in front of it. I have used the Datong converterfor two years and feel I have as good a receiver as anyone.
