It seems that I am the only one to observe the new UK loran on 137 khz. I did see one UK stn active on qrs 3, only visible, vy poor signal. I am active but CW only for UK stns and qrv for DX on qrs3
Markus et al, There is a data transmission superimposed on Sylt (and now on the other EU Loran tx). which may explain your unknown lines. This extract from a paper given by TU Delft at the US PLANS 9

Some of you might have noticed that Loran, at least the Lessay transmitter, was off Yes Dave, I could not believe how strong both Bill G6NB and Bernard G8TB sounded. I did not realise that Loran was
From Dave G3YMC Some of you might have noticed that Loran, at least the Lessay transmitter, was off the air for several hours this morning June 12th. I am not sure when exactly it went off, but becam
Hi, As people may be aware, LORAN is sometimes a problem for cave radio work. One of the things I am investigating is the possibility of using alternative low frequencies for our operations. Before I
Dear Hugh, LF Group, For an explanation of Loran C and other hyperbolic radio navigtion systems, take a look at http://webhome.idirect.com/~jproc/hyperbolic/ The Loran transmitters all operate on 100
Thanks John, for a very useful frequency list of Loran stations. They make quite good frequency markers - like radio graph paper. I wonder if anyone can answer my three questions ... 1. How does Lora
Here's a pic of Loran as seen here just south of London. Raw 100 kHz RF in a 10 kHz bandwidth and linear volts. No AGC or limiting. Rugby amplitude changes occasionally - guess they're tuning the sys
