G3KEV does not use BEACON MODE. I call CQ on 502.57 QSK QSK QSK and I am always in the shack when doing so to respond to anyone that breaks in. Sri Jim but you have got it WRONG. I use NORMAL CW but

What is the difference (for others) between beaconing and a shear endless QRSS CQ-call or QSO. If that signal is S9+ and near the band centre it blocks in both cases a good part of the band for weak
