I dont like the idea of loosing the use of the loop stick antenna when doing this. does replacing the loop with the wip/outdoor antenna in effect when using memory position 99 or when you make the "

Hi Alberto , on second thoughts that is probably a good idea as the ferrite loop would probably be off tune down there (and thus very deaf) anyway so the only antenna you could use would be an extern

well I agree but on note indicates that the fix also allows to use the wip over the loop stick,,, not sure there is much use to tune lower than the standard 100 K at that range it works pretty well o

Hi Bob I dont have one but I dont see why that "trick" would affect the hardware.....it is just a trick to fool the procesor into going below 100kHz. Of course you dont know what the sensitivity will
