Andy Virgin AM has a local transmitter at Fareham. Its only 1kw, but it puts in a very strong signal around the area. Have monitored it using a remote receiver at Gosport. Regards Tony VK2IC -- Text

It may be apocryphal, but there was a story around the BBC TX training centre when I was there of someone very close to Droitwich who did just that, and got caught. Can't quite be sure what his crime

OK, Tnx. Its definitely Fareham then, the MF mast only 5.5km away, on the top of a hill and visible from the A27, near the M27 Junction. Wondered what that mast was radiating. At 5500m, 1kW ERP works
