Hi Chris, I would assume such a large HV switch and the whole construction adds a few 10 pF to your system. This C has of course no radiation resistance. So this lowers your antenna efficiency a bit!

Hmm, Use Spectrum Lab with a GPS reference signal, compensating the soundcard drift, and a GPS-locked mixer and you're down in the 10 uHz range and also ready for nearly any mode used on the band! :-
