Hello John, LF, I wish you good luck! In 3 weeks i will be QRV on 137 kHz in CW and DFCW from near Verdun, in JN29PD using QRO and a proper antenna ;-) Maybe you are interested in a QSO? 73, Stefan/D
Dear Jim, Alan, Gerhard, LF, Agn tnx for your suggestions! OK, so my way to realise the filter was not too worse. Tomorrow i will play with a double LC filter, just as applied before the BF981, just
Mal, I have a 2 uF C in series to the primary coil. I am using a homemade H bridge switching mode PA. The circuit is currently just in my mind but maybe i can draw and publish it soon. The impedance
Mal, Tnx for the report. Yes, there are still some dB missing. I have thought that you had even less power tonite but if it was the same like before some days... Tnx for the test signal that was T co
Dear LF group, This weekend i will be active with my kite vertical antenna on 137 kHz out of France, near Verdun, JN29PD. Background: The local ham radio club (http://www.f42.info/) where i am member
Markus, LF, Nice reception of your transmission! It was several 10 dB above noise ;-) Thanks for the test! The grabber has some working point temperature drifting problems but with the AGC it reasona
BTW, i have added a peak holding graph (green line) that shows the peak of the last 120 seconds (in QRSS-3), makes it easier to check the maximum S/N during transmitting... Am 25.08.2010 19:51, schri
LF, The 137 activity starts. DK1IS is 25 dB above noise in DFCW-3 on my grabber (which runs again since yesterday, still not optimised yet). 73, Stefan Attachment: DK1IS_QRSS3.jpg Description: JPEG i

Hello Dave, Thank you. Yes, lightnings or just charges clouds are really an issue, especially when beeing on a hill there! One can see those charged droplets when they fall on the antenna of my VLF g
Hi Scott, Congrats to that excellent reception and your new antenna! Very impressing! Will you try to use it on VLF as well? :-) I am interested what you have to tell about it on your web page, so ps

It is OE5ODL, transmitting for test purposes @ 2W TX power in QRSS-10. QRB to me is 376 km. So, not he has a vy gd ant! Since today i am offering a QRSS-10 window on the LF grabber. Further windows w

VLF, Today, the QRN is extremely low again. I can see several traces of VLF transmitters such as VTX India @ 17 kHz and a trace @ 21,3 kHz in 1,4 Hz. What transmitter is at 21,3 kHz? I haven't found
Hi Roger, How stable is your frequency? How is it generated? For QRSS-3 it can be generated by a home made LC oscillator. If you have a stable TX (frequency and drift), we could do some tests in some
