This weekend, i plan to do a test with a 600m spaced earth electrode antenna on 8970 Hz (if the QRN is reasonably low). TX power will be somewhat between 150 W and 600 W. The RX station is in about 50 km distance. It would be 5x the current record distance with earth electrode antennas on VLF!

Markus/DF6NM will also watch the QRG but 174 km distance is not really probably.

Marco/DD7PC, would you also be interested to watch? Your system seems to work now, as seen on 6470 Hz! :-)
