Thanks Dennis, RX signals in 2007/8 (?) were by ear and was using LF reflector to ask for xband qso. I was TX abt 3.535 80m. I thought the 500kHz stations were pretty loud (was 100mW ERP back then),
Hi all, I just RX my SRP/NoV for 501-504kHz. Hope to have my station up and running for TX as soon as possible. Thanks for all those who since 2008 have so far had a cross band qso perhaps we can man
LF today (newer edition) has the circuit for 136 and 500 modifications to SR by M0BMU part way down the page. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IPGAOU6e58s/Se3eSjsMr0I/AAAAAAAAAbY/sEHuJDQluHA/s1600-h/LF_SDR.
Two RX options. FT817 and a 500KHz SDR RX (modified Softrock Lite V6.2 for 160m) TX options. Had built a M0BMU TX PA unit long time ago (but never added PA MOSFET's) as no NoV at the time. I have bot
Mal, One option is to use helium balloon/parafoil kites pretty sure UK amateur G4VG flies a 160m antenna this way, when no wind the balloons work fine, when wind picks up switches to more normal kite
Jean-Louis, In UK 60m is the flying limit and 30m near an airport but I think you'd have to be seriously daft to fly a kite near an airport anyway. You can fly higher too.... for permission to exceed
