Has anyone used an existing Versatower or similar as a vertical radiator for LF or MF? I know some use them on topband, running an insulated wire on the outside up to the top and feeding as a folded monopole. Only asking as a local amateur who has a tower and beam cannot justify extra wire in his garden for lower frequencies (Serious XYL-i problems, apparently :-) Andy |
