Thanks Luis hi well everyone takes a more comfortable idea for and not to ruin the PCB to remove SMD you have to connect all useful files on the DIP 14 ok when you can keep us informed of the result thanks Luis soon

Ciao Antonio

This PCB is mounted in a DIP14 shocket and REPLACES the original DIP14 4013 in the PA. Please review the picture carefully

So, just need to remove the original DIP14 4013 and plug the module. That’s all

The only advantage over your approach is extreme simplicity. Schematic is the same

One can also undo the mod and place the DIP14 4013 if finally find EbNaut is not his cup of tea

hello Luis I saw your project to use the PA of G0MRF Amplifier I have a doubt how do you use your scheme from the DIP 4013 if you use a SMD 4013 on the David G0MRF amp? the thing can be on another amplifier if it uses integrated DIP.

I've already informed you the experimented for two years thanks Riccardo IW4DXW gave this idea to transmit with two small modular one for modutale in TX the other GPS uses 4070 for modular amplifier G0MRF until today no problem, on my pay I put the whole system for all who uses David G0MRF amplifier

Hi EbNaut

I have squized the XOR gates needed to modulate BPSK for EbNaut transmissions using the G0MRF PA

The final result is a 4013 compatible plugin module. So, you only need to remove the 14Pin DIP 4013 chip and plug the

module in the shocket. For modulation a two pin input connector can be wired to any USB/COM converter even

using 3V3 levels. The Windows EbNaut Tx program will manage the DTR+DSR outputs for this COM port. It uses an

optoisolator. You can resize the series resistor in the input side to adapt for higer voltage drive levels

To drive the PA, any cheap NEO6 GPS can be programmed to output the right 2X frequency in LF or MF. The 3V3 can

be the only issue and you need a simple transistor to increase levels to 5V or more

The PCB is single side, no drills. Just a wire jump is needed. SMD components are used but I find this easier than drilling

and using pass trought components. This links to a pìcture of the module
