It reminds me of the demise of the Trepassy LORAN tower after it almost
became QRV on 2200m. Heartbreaking isn't it?

I think a similar pair of towers still exists near Aholming, Bavaria (ex 207
kHz). Does anyone in the group happen to have information about the future of
that site, or perhaps even about a point of contact regarding a possible
amateur activation?

We should have asked before to use the towers. There could have been a
good chance. I haven't known that :-(
I have been there last winter. It was quite impressing...
