Hi all,

I have completed the second stack of the new coil: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19882028/ULF/20160723_144939.jpg
It has 440 mH, together with the first stack (good magnetic coupling!) the coil has 1.77 H so far. On my antenna i will find the resonance at about 5.5 kHz. With 2 stacks i can run about 10 kV, means 170 mA. That's not much. But it is just a test to see if the high voltage is hold without problems. The test will be done in a week or so. It has to hold 10 kV before i continue to wind the 3rd stack.

I have completed the first stack (1 of 8) of my new coil intedned to generate 40 kV at 2.97 kHz. It has 350 mH, the loss is 107 Ohm at 2970 Hz. It can handle 350 mA antenna current without problems. For a HV test i need the PA which is in use now :-)
