Hi Roelof, Marcus,

with a bit of luck this is just an appetizer of what we can expect the coming
years when we are going toward the solar minimum.
In 2009-2010 winter I could hear Joe (VX9MCR at that time) almost every night
in CW. When propagation was good as early as 22 UTC or in the morning up to 7
UTC.
I had the impression that the QSB on the signal was even more profound than the
QSB on European signals.
On 17/11/2009 we had a QRSS QSO, me running a mere 250mW ERP.

Hello Markus,

I have followed your and Paul's experiments with great interest and
have great respect for the ingenuity involved.

Looking at my plain CW reception of VO1NA, you might understand that
so far there is no need to use them here.

However, propagation was exceptional last night and when the sun
will keep quiet, might improve further.

Roelof, pa0rdt
