Hi MF,

It is a pity that we (whatever that means) seem to be unable to find a consensus where QRSS (3...10) activity is centered. Many chances are missed in that situation.

We don't need an "authority" who defines a band plan. But we would need a discussion and a consensus then.

Years ago i have centered my QRSS grabber on 476.180 kHz. It does not mean that i want to define the center of activity but i wanted to run one of the first an regular (!) QRSS MF grabbers and had to make a decision. IQ2MI is almost daily active there since years. Also it is possible to watch/monitor that range when using a USB (SSB) RX on 474.2 kHz dial, so one can use it for JT9 / WSPR / QRSS.

Just a thought...

PS: I like the word "authority" in quotation marks. It expressed the wish to live a life as free as possible and the refusal of repression. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YR5ApYxkU-U
