Hello Andy,

I'm already using a TCXO. But as we have seen the construction isn't well isolated. The big fan is blowing it out of frequency hi hi!

One of my Ultimate3S has an oven inside as well, so let's see which heater does the better job.

Maybe it would be a good idea to heat the transverter up by txing CW for 5 minutes :)

About stability, here I use an home made transverter for transmiting. I had same problem using a classic Xtal oscillator.
After I changed it by a TCXO, and now the stability is good.

Hey all,
thank you all for your reports. It seems the big fan is a bit too big. And the transverter too close to the pa. I just stopped the fan, let's see if it's starts smelling hi hi. Otherwise I'll try it agn with my Ultimate3S.

Hi Vinny !

There was a signal at 475.802, the level was ok, but it had a drift of 3
Hertz coming from 475.799. This is way too much for a successful decode
of WSPR-15. If it was your signal, you have to work on frequency
stability first.
