08 December 2015 Now well on with my motor drive variometer for 136kHz, my question is how far away from the loading coil base can I realistically insert the motor drive variometer. I am thinking of weather proofing the electrics. And with regard to the motor that drives it, should the 1uF capacitor be across its terminals, or across the output terminals of the shack situated control circuitry? Or both?
