Hello Stefan, This phenomenon has been tested on NAVTEX 518 kHz reception. It appears that at night due to high angle reception for stations under 1000 km the nulls of a loop are filled in nicely and there is no directivity whatsoever. 73, Roelof Bakker, pa0rdt |
