Hello Terry, Before reverting to SDR's, I used a W&G SPM-30 for NDB hunting at LF. The unpleasant high pitch of 2000 Hz was changed to 500 Hz by either using a hardware downconvertor or a different internal X-tal. To get rid of intermod problems, I used a tuneable pre-amplifier. This set up worked very well indeed, especially due to the 24 Hz wide banwidth setting. 73, Roelof, pa0rdt |
