I am afraid I dont find that very convincing Graham. The local spots confirm you were transmitting around that time and that presumably made your call available via the database for testing against BUT only 1dB weaker in VK than in Scotland doesn't sound feasible. even 26 dB lower that Essex doesn't reallyseem right. No spots anywhere outside the UK in that period? OK the dBs may be "different" but........I would want at least a couple of spots at different times to start to be convinced. All this has done for me is to put the significance of the "??" and the "validation process" in doubt.

Remember that the freespace signal would drop at 20dB per decade so -40dB on the local signals at 10kmiles, without any other attenuation....... which is normally around 60dB over 10kmiles (5 hops)
