Many thanks Hartmut for the excellent screen shot.

I'll leave the beacon running with a DFCW test signal for a while longer.
I'll go indoors and warm up as my garden brick-built shack is quite cold.

Thanks for all reports.

Thanks again Joe and Markus for the great screen shots.

I'm trying 137.635 kHz now to clear that QRM.

I'm just looking at my old LF logbook of ten years ago - January 2005 (in date order)
There was a lot of activity then, both on CW and QRSS:

OH5UFO  PA0BWL  F6CWA  OK2BVG  DF0WD  M0FMT  YU7AR  G3XDV  M0BMU F6BWO  HA6PC  DL2HRE  Z38AV  G3YXM  SM6BHZ  DF6NM  G3AQC  S57A  HF7VPM  IK5ZPV  G3OLB  DK1IS  G3WCB  G3LDO  F6CHT

Happy days.

Chris,

very nice! Here's your last over, with the NB switched off after the first quarter. You're nicely put in the middle of the gap now. There seems to be a weak QRM line exactly on 630, so finetuning up or down by a couple of Hz would help even more.

Many thanks Marcus for the useful screen shot.
My next few transmissions will be on 137.63 kHz to clear your QRM.

Hi Chris,

also well readable in Nuernberg JN59NJ. Unfortunately DCF39 bursts are big here, attached screenshot is without noise blanking. Normally I have the SpecLab blanker engaged with short (1.5 ms) ramps, which reduces the splatter but also tends to render the signal a bit choppy. Note that there is a clear frequency range around the null in the splatter spectrum at 137.63 kHz.

Many thanks for the report Joe.
It's lashing down with rain here and the aerial current is low so I'm pleased to be getting out.
