Here´s my one for keeping :o)
Here's a nicer one for keeping - this is pretty much the best I can do using the noise blanker with 9 dB threshold. Sent: Saturday, January 03, 2015 1:11 PM Subject: Re: LF: AW: G3XIZ CQ 137.7 kHz also well readable in Nuernberg JN59NJ. Unfortunately DCF39 bursts are big here, attached screenshot is without noise blanking. Normally I have the SpecLab blanker engaged with short (1.5 ms) ramps, which reduces the splatter but also tends to render the signal a bit choppy. Note that there is a clear frequency range around the null in the splatter spectrum at 137.63 kHz. It's lashing down with rain here and the aerial current is low so I'm pleased to be getting out. I'll be QRV on 137.7 using QRSS / DFCW for the next hour or so. Anyone (within range) who'd like a QSO / sked please let me know. Set up: 120 watts RF, inverted 'L' 43m @ 9m
