Hello Joe.
Your decode last night. You was testing 35 Watts and 2 antennas :
When you was using your antenna 1 :
05:39 477 VO1NA Op8 -16 dB Fade: 4%
04:38 477 VO1NA Op8 -17 dB Fade: 5%
03:08 477 VO1NA Op8 -18 dB Fade: 17%
02:38 477 VO1NA Op8 -14 dB Fade: 8%
02:08 477 VO1NA Op8 -13 dB Fade: 6%
01:38 477 VO1NA Op8 -17 dB Fade: 13%
01:08 477 VO1NA Op8 -16 dB Fade: 2%
23:08 477 VO1NA Op8 -19 dB Fade: 16%
When you was using your antenna 2 :
03:23 477 VO1NA Op8 -21 dB Fade: 5%
02:53 477 VO1NA Op8 -22 dB Fade: 18%
Here I had some local QRN just on your QRG. About 5 to 6 dB better when you
used the antenna 1.
Next night, I’ll use a short vertical whip base tuned to see the difference
against my 2 x K9AY out of phase. I hope you be again transmitting ?

Hi Graham,
I think it may have been the vert. It seems the horiz. is
poorer
to the east on 630. On 2200 and 1600 the horiz is several dB to
the west, but good to the east.
Strange, isn't it?
