Ok Joe ,
may be the polarisation held over the path as the vert only picked
you up on that over , where as the 32 ft horz wire caught the
previous tx's , as the wire is sloping only 20 ft to 10 ft abg and
using ft897d no tuner , amazing all round !
Seems the path is open every night , but its peaking 0300 0400 Z

I think it may have been the vert. It seems the horiz. is poorer
to the east on 630. On 2200 and 1600 the horiz is several dB to
the west, but good to the east.
Strange, isn't it?

After each OP8 transmission, the antenna switches. So one on the
tower and the next on the wire, &c. Hope this is what you were asking.
