Joe,
Nice to see your call pop up on 477 ! first decode of you for
me , so that completes the 'First Atlantic two way data qso'
on MF ,
Only a short time between tx/rx each way change of mode and a
re-allocation of the band etc , but apart from that , jobs a good
one as they say hihi

Hi Graham, Jean-Pierre and group,
Thank-you JP and Graham for the reports. This was the first attempt
with the new exciter comprising 7493, 7400 and 4427 chips wired on a
bit
of perfboard on the bottom of this (poor) photo. Above this are 2
earlier
breadboards with 74161 and 4011 chips and above that a 10 MHz ref.osc
amp
and 4020 divider chip. To the left are the Arduino and DDS60 boards
and
an antenna changeover relay. The jack for the CW key is on the LHS of
the
perfboard.
Seeing 10 reports on pskreporter last night was gratifying but there is
still work ahead... the TX has hissing fits from time to time. QRO is
in the future when some cores and caps can be sourced for a new PA.

Hi Joe ,
Good receipt of your signal this night , in spite of my WSPR beacon in

Dear Group,
The TX seems to have stopped hissing and appears to be working.
40 watts to the monopole until 1000 UTC 10 Nov.
Reports welcomed.
