Im sure a few people have been thru this loop but as this is now an obsoleted item does anyone have any (tested) recommendations for a Class D or E TO-247 replacement - Id like to go up to 600V Vds (the main reason the 34NB20 typically fails in a "fault" condition here), stay around the 30A or greater, improve the drain source resistance (that's where the money is) and keep input cap low, and improve or at least equal the rise and fall times.
The ones Im looking at, and Im sure there a loads more according to Mouser
But as they are nearly 20 bucks each or more expensive than the 34NB20 Im looking for . I know I can get similar devices to the NB20 for lowish cost but my main "want/need" is to increase the Vds (I think!)
Any ideas or pointers welcomed. Direct or via board
