Hi Chris,
the audio frequency band processed and generated by
WSQ software is 1000 - 1066 Hz. In the associated readme, Murray ZL1BPU
recommends a slot "500 Hz below WSPR", which would correspond to "dial"
frequencies of 472.2 and 136.0 kHz, ie RF bands above 473.2 and 137.0
kHz.
As my LO is fixed to 135.5 kHz "dial", for
simplicity I went on air yesterday transmitting WSQ between 136.5 and
136.566 kHz, and Joe DF2JP also got on. In relatively
heavy QRN, we could see some bits of each other but not
good enough for a QSO. Stefan DK7FC could also read some of our transmissions.
Today condx look a lot quieter, and I have just decoded two complete calls
on the same QRG:

Subject: LF: WSQ Frequencies?
Hi All LF,
Anybody know what frequencies on 472kHz and 137kHz
band to monitor for anybody trying the WSQ mode?
Thanks, 73, Chris,
