I have just consulted the REF website and it appears that the licensing authority (ARCEP) approved the necessary amendments to the French licence on 17 December. The matter now has to go before the relevant Minister, after which a notice will be published in the Journal Officiel stating when the amendments will take effect and whether people have to ask for a variation to their licence.

Just for info : As usual as last evening days, 9H1DP is now calling CQ on 472.2. His signal is always very weak here but just OK for QSO. I think he is still waiting for his first MF QSO on CW... Here in France, we are still waiting for MF transmitting licence ! Andy.
