I can not answer you question about the propagation mode.

As mentioned the WSPR software, in WSPR-2 mode, receives an audio signal between 1400 Hz (RF 137400 Hz) and 1600Hz (RF 137600 Hz).

With the IDC-136II receiver the WSPR-2 signal is from 137400 - 130000 = 7400 Hz and 137600 - 130000 = 7600 Hz.

By using HDSDR software the frequency offset, 6000 Hz, can be removed.

The sound output can be sent from HDSDR to the WSPR software using a virtual audio cable.
