Note early reception at 2130Z ... also the loss of signal between 2230 and 0130Z then solid copy beyond. Earlier path opening and best s/n at -28 show conditions improving nicely.

Alan ... care to speculate on the early to mid evening loss of signal (been noticing for 10 years now)? Seems to become more prominent the closer we get toward the peak of the season. Often times there is complete loss of signal for a couple hours.
