Hi  All,

I may have to make an eggsample of those of you who flocked together to migrate in my direction to have a peck at my sorry tail.

If this flight of nonsense continues I will have no option but to make you wing your way before the beak & have you caged.

Gary.

Hi All,

Gary,
It's clear confirmation of one of my thoughts. If I were to put it in easy terms I would have to say your problem is that the birds are on higher perches and you have been taking large deposits!
How you create a hedge against this is going to require some blue skies thinking. If you crow about the situation you will just be parroting their parliament and attracting a gaggle of onlookers!
Don't be gulled into a false sense of security or you might find yourself pigeonholed.
Grousing about the situation won't help either. The eagle-eyed among us will spot an attempt at a birdie from quite a range! Robin' Peter to pay Paul won't help at this time of swiftly soaring costs and you will have to swallow hard.
Lofted as high as they are, your antennas should, ideally. be nested!
I am sure there is a claws in  my contract to stop me at this point before I branch out further!

Have a look at the photo from this evening about 6:15 pm local time, this is more like the number of starlings which regularly perch on my antenna :-

Hi All,

I am being bothered by lots of starlings perching on my HF/MF top load capacity hat & messing on everthing that happens to be below in my small garden, ie. the washing & windows etc, which really annoys my wife.

Does anyone use any form of bird deterant with any success ?

I have heard of model Falcons  perched on the antenna but does it really work ?
