OK , L
Well the qrg in the QTH
line is only a bodge-a-round ,
Was that the carrier , looks like it was
, would give 503790 dial ? for 1550 Hz
mid-band +/- 50 Hz ( better +/- 48 to allow
for offsets)
If your running over night , can re-post
with updated info , the norm is to give the
dial set ,
73-G.

Morning G ! Im guessing the freq in the QTH line has to be a full
integer - therefore my 505.34 isnt being shown? Im "Xtal" controlled so
cant shift at the moment....but may shove an output later from the GPS's HP sig
gen so Im on 505 dial or may be 506... No decodes overnight but UEP QTX
still running cool with a small fan on the main board - mainly to keep a couple
of the air coils cool. Ill continue to run it today for further groundwave
tests. THE QTX has soft keying option which makes it sound rather pleasant. Long
haul still not good up here which is the norm... Laurence KL 1 X

Im still out playing catch that signal but signal carrier keying
rate has changed to something that could decoded by Opera OP8 USB suppressed
carrier dial 505.34kHz ( beacon has CW ID). Ill leave it running till AK dawn

I figured out how to key the standalone tx using a RTS/DTS line,
In4148 and small reed relay outputs keying the PTT line to the GW3UEP modded
QTX100 transmitter - trying to keep it real simple and don't have a requisite
opto coupler in by boxes
So if you get the messages that Im on 477 on the
program, its a big fib :-) as Im not licensed there only
