Hello Laurence,

< No signs yet Uwe but over the Pole hasnt been good on any band for a couple of weeks.>

we will see.

You have seen traces of my LF signs in Beijing some years ago,

so why not the VLF signs in Wasilla now?

Uwe, Peter and other VLFers -

I ve shoved the very slow 8970 on the following snappers.

http://kl7uk.com/VLFAlaska.html    VLF only
http://kl7uk.com/Alaska.html         MF LF HF and VLF dependant on my viewing/requests

I see some odd goings on over the past 24hours around 19k, looks like some stepping stones going on -  and it looks like the Alphas are doing some strange stuff too. I am on my standby soundcard which has a little more roll off at HF after my Realtek died.

No signs yet Uwe but over the Pole hasnt been good on any band for a couple of weeks.

I still need to figure out the best FFT size and "decimete"r ratio as Im still a bit clueless there - I need to do some more reading -

Is it better to have a longer FFT input size and smaller decimate or say smaller input size and larger decimate :-) ?

O.K. thanks for info Uwe.
You don't have to say sorry :-)
It learns us again that a stable signal is very- very- veryyyyy importand.
My 424 uHz grabber shows your signal and drift clear with connected pixels
My   47 uHz grabber shows no connected line/trace anymore.

Nice to see that the Frequency Error callibration works so well in Spectum Lab.
It seems that the Soundcard here is also rock stable with help of that SR cal function.

Hello Uwe,
I'm not sure, but it looks like your generator is not rock stable anymore since 19h45 UTC yesterday (1 Feb 13)
It did drift down about 0..003 Hz.  (Ha ha.... 0.003 Hz)
Also possible that the trouble is here ofcourse...
Now (09h48) drifting back up to 8970.022 Hz
