Oh what a difference.
Just had a proper QSO with OR7T who was no longer a huge reddish pink blot on the horizon. Now a reasonable looking trace for a station at the distance.

Here is my recommended set up for this version on XP Machines. First run WSPR2 set the audio levels for 0dB this level is correct for Spectrum Lab, Fldigi, Slow Scan you name it. Now open WSJT-X the dB scale will be overloaded pull down the slider by the side to set the levels as indicated in the quick set up guide.

Joe, the questions remains. Why do WSJT2.11 and WSJTX have such a strangely sensitive input.

What we need now is the same slider or a return to normal Audio levels for the TX side it is overloaded by the same amount I would say.

Where are all my "15P6715P67WCV "s missing them already.
