Hello Lubos,

My congratulations! Very good news.
I hope to work you as soon as possible, maybe sunday night? Of course you would be my first station on 630m.

All the best.

Hello Edgar, MW friends!

As you have known, my special permission for 501-504kHz was not prolonged. But thanks to the executive staff from The Czech Telecommunication Office (ČTÚ) I was granted a new special licence for experimental amateur transmission. I can use 472 - 479kHz and 501 - 504kHz bands now. The licence is valid up to 13.8.2013. I am glad!

I tried to sent my call on the new band last night. It was a short time test of my antenna only, but I was pleasantly surprised, my signal was received by Edgar, DL2HRE. It was the good luck, so we did my first CW QSO on 630m and the first QSO DL/OK. Than I worked with Wolf, DF0WD and Uwe, DJ8WX. THANKS!

My RIG:  Kenwoon TS480 + transvertor + PA20W(..it is enought for 1W ERP :-)

My antennas: GP 45m + Marconi GP 24m

The conditions were good, no QRN, QSB only. Quite good signals of NDB beacons "QL" (KN97KF => 1639km) and "PT" (LO01CR => 1681km) were received as well.

I am not sure I will be active tonight. But if the conditions are good, than I will be active next nights. All reports and QSOs are welcome! :-)

GL and 73 on 630m!

Lubos, OK2BVG, JN88KS
