There are several 1000s lightnings above Germany so maybe its not a good idea to try tonite. Just want to inform you. Hopefully tomorrow is more promising. Would you have the time tmw?

Yes, it was very hot during the last days. Today the situation is a bit better but probably there is a lot of QRN. The daytime is about 14 hours here now in this latitude. We're loosing 3m20sec per day now! Soon the hot days and thunderstorms will be over and then we can start into the season.

I had to stop my MF activity for high possibility of storm. My big antenna on the remote portable QTH is grounded now. The day was very hot, daytime temperature more than 37°C. Lots of storms is visible on Blitzortung page.
Well ... we will do our CW QSO later, when the weather is quiet.
