Many thanks for your help! I is simply unbelivable what SpecLab can do /be used for!

Meanwhile i found another solution: I simply send a "E" in DFCW-28800 (= 8 hours). I pressed "minimise key gaps" and so the digimode terminal immediately starts to generate the tone when i press F10. The PTT is keyed by Opera of course.
This will stop the transmission after 8 hours and so i can go to bed :-)

You could use one of the 'scheduled actions' in SL to turn off the generator at a certain time of day.
