Hi Clemens,
I confirm the 'long delayed echo' through the reflector.
The antenna was the same as already described on earlier (on my
website), with a dozen meter random wire, brought to resonance with an
L/C tank which also acts as an isolating transformer between "antenna
earth" and "mains ground".
Cheers,
Wolf .

Hi Wolf,
which receive antenna for 500kHz did you use at DF0WD?
Here in south Germany I was able to work xband IQ2MI
and DI2BO with S7-S8 signals.
I could hear G3XIZ working another UK station on 500, but quite weak.
If this email should appear later once more it is the first one from
this afternoon which
for some reason did not make it through.

Marconi day
Hi Graham,
Also thanks to you and the crew for the activity. Propagation on 500
kHz must have been comparably well; stations heard from EI, GI, G, IQ,
DI, and PA (all Q5 in CW here, no 'puter running).
Thanks Geri / DI2BO for DF0WD's first HF/MF xband QSO before total
darkness ;-)
Cheers,
Wolf .

Thanks to All who called on 500 and 3533 , quite a number
of stations from Europe , and IQ2MI , who we had one 355/500
and one 500 / 500 qso with , last qso on 500 before station closed
Good signal's from Chris G3XIZ 500/500 and Albert PA0A 500/500
Propagation on 80 seemed to favour EU , very few ssb contacts on
80 where made inside the Uk that evening , with rapid qsb and
drop out.
