Hello Ken, Can you remember the name of the web site where the layout was?, I did my own layout but it was not all that successful when tested on 198kHz S/N improved but no increase in level, although this may have been because I wound two 20mH inductors for the power feed and may have been too greater inter-winding capacitance, for use on VLF. As the S/N ratio improved, I believe the antenna performed as it should. For use from 20 kHz and up a 100 uH inductor is OK. For 10 kHz and up, I use 1.2 mH But this is not really critical. 73, Roelof, pa0rdt |
