I did already re-build the LF RX situation here befor
your mail came in.
I went back to 9 Khz already and was not able to do that
noise measurement test.
I'm not sure why you are 'only' 20 dB S/N. In my opinion
it was already very strong :-)
The Alinco DX70 is not that good at such low
frequency's. Perhaps that is the reason ?
If I remember well, then I did modify it to get that
low.
I will try that noise measurement test on 9 Khz as
well.
But for now I have to go to bed.
I have to work at night (night shift) this
week...
Btw, there was also a station on air who did send a
K.
