Hello Lubos,
In the short time that I join the groupe here, I did not read about that discussion about powering the Mini Whip.
But now I know :-)  In the garage is is since this afternoon a motor battary already at the charger.
I will try to use such a accu / batery to.

I use a small Pb accumulator 12V/10Ah. There is enough energy for one week of receiving in it.

Ahaaaaaaahaaaaaaaa; now I understand why I receive NOTHING on 8970 Hz here in the northern part of Holland....
 
Take a look at the spectrum while my Mini Whip was
feeded with this SKIPTECH RPS1210 HQ !
 
 
 
Take a look at the spectrum while my Mini Whip was
feeded with this PS1303 !
 
 
Take a look at the spectrum while my Mini Whip was
feeded with this 9 volt battery:
 
 
Take a look at the spectrum while my Mini Whip was
feeded with these 8 Penlight's !!!
 
In all these 4 examples I did leave Contrast in S.L. as it was (no adjustments)
 
Last but not least A exzample with 2x 9 Volt AH Battery's:
 
How do you all power your PD0RTD Mini Whip ?
