Hi Mal.
I sent an email to Ofcom
last week and received a standard reply
quoting WRC-12 as follows.
Regards
Ken M0KHW
Dear Mr Wright,
Thank you for your email, the
details of which have been noted.
The current Notice of Variations
(NoV) issued to your call sign M0KHW,
for operations in the 501 – 504kHz
band is due to expire on the 29 February
2012. This date was set as it
would be after the International
Telecommunications Union (ITU) World Radio
Conference (WRC-12), when the outcome of WRC-12 Agenda
Item 1.23 would be known.
The conference concludes on 17
February 2012 so we will most likely expect
information on the outcome to be added to the
Ofcom website at http://licensing.ofcom.org.uk/radiocommunication-licences/amateur-radio/licensing-updates/
after this date.
We hope that this helps.
Kind regards

Does
anyone know if the current NOV for 500 will
automatically be renewed as last time. With
only a few days to go the news seems scarce.
Ofcom is usually on the ball well in advance
with such matters
