The QRS3 Opera challenge has been running for almost 24 Hours now,
continuously, I initially proposed it as a one shot operation.
Last night I asked G3XIZ to read my Phantom QRS3 to ensure that it
is readable and at S6 it certainly was.
Many stations have decoded my OPERA during the period. NO ONE except
XIZ has reported the QRS3.
OPERA (and by default from previous tests WSPR) has won hands down.
G3KEV has received my signal several times :- 11:11 500 G3ZJO de
G3KEV Op4 229 km -27 dB in SCARBOROUGH
.and observed at least once :-
G3ZJO decoded and stopped
at 1057 z TRACE visible during transmission. I happened to be in
the shack to observe
Please can we keep this practical test on a sensible technical
level.
