 Hi Mal.
This is ok for you high speed cw people, but for
someone like myself with a comfortable speed of 15 - 16 wpm, people do not want
to work you. I have spent hours calling CQ on the HF bands with no reply when
there are operators calling at speeds that I will never acheive.

Hi speed CW on HF is music to my ears, coming from all
  corners of the world.
LF/MF beacons and Lazy man cw (qrs) from the USE (united
states of Europe) is not exciteable
At present 15 es 10 metres open world wide and vy
  exciting after several lean years

The majority of signals on LF es MF are suitable for
a QSO but the present culture seems to favour BEACONS, QRS MODE when it is
not necessary and QSL via Internet.
In the beginning it was all CW QSO mode and it
      worked FB.
I do not bother any more because it is a waste of
time listening/watching useless repeative part callsigns.
It has all been done before and better so what are
current operators trying to achieve. What are you
doing on HF that wasn't done before?

My suggestion is to get back to CW QSO
mode Have thought the same, some days ago. I will
try to move activity to CW a bit more, at least on the
    weekend...

, use QRS only under vy poor propagation condx if
      you think it helps.
Use LF es MF like all the other bands, HF es VHF
where CW is the norm, SSB as appropriate and likewise data
      modes.

  Hi Joe, LF,
Your signal in a QRSS-10 window.
Would be suitable for a QSO :-) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19882028/LF/10_402283.jpg
