Hi Roger - Yes I understood the US system was no longer operational. The usual schedule for ZEVS over the past few weeks has been at 0800 and 1700 utc - 9 and 6 local time with the whole transmission (message and carrier) lasting 92 minutes. Yesterday there was a surprise lunchtime transmission at 1300 local time - and Eddie G3ZJO reported seeing a similar transmission the day before - but there has been nothing so far today on 82Hz.

Interesting - looking closely I can see what might be very short burst at 77Hz at around 0400 UTC and what might be a similar short burst at 75Hz around 0645 UTC.  I can't see anything else except for the 4 minute burst at 82 Hz around 0530utc. This burst is usually the precursor to the main transmission 90 minutes or 150 minutes later - perhaps checking the transmitter. This morning, however, there has been no 0800 utc transmission.

Around 82 - 83 Hz area there seems to be other activity as well as zevs. Observed what looks like short bursts periodically, maybe not related but strange these short bursts are around this frequency area and not visible elswhere. I did see a short burst also on 77 Hz

No interest in this activity other than checking RX sensitivity and Antenna.
